AMA is proud to collaborate with NZ Music Month | Te Marama Puoro o Aotearoa, to āwhina and amplify local artists and their music. Now embedded in our cultural landscape, the month of May has grown from a period of encouraging radio to play more local tunes to a 31-day celebration of homegrown talent across the length and breadth of the country.
This May we celebrate our music and all the places it’s made and enjoyed across Aotearoa – at our incredible local live music venues, community halls, schools, libraries, marae, public parks and squares, all ages spaces and more.
