Irirangi Te Motu | NZ On Air is an independent government funding agency that funds the recording and promotion of single songs and multi-song projects that reflect Aotearoa New Zealand and have the potential to reach both significant broadcast and online audiences. We do this by funding artists and musicians to professionally record and create content that resonates and engages with audiences. Alongside New Music Single and New Music Project funding streams, NZ On Air Music also offers Waiata Takitahi, New Music Pasifika, Pan Asian and Kids focused funding rounds.

He hinonga reo Māori a Te Māngai Pāho e mahi ana i ngā rāngai o te ao pāpāho, matihiko, pae pāpori, reo irirangi Māori, waiata Māori hoki. Ko tā Te Māngai Pāho mahi, he whakatairanga i te reo Māori me te ahurea Māori mā te tautoko ā-pūtea nei i ngā kaiwaihanga me ngā kaiwhakarato i ngā kaupapa mō te reo me ngā tikanga. Kia whakaputahia ki ngā whakaminenga mā ngā pāhorau rerekē. Ko te whāinga matua o Te Māngai Pāho, ahakoa kei whea, ahakoa āwhea, ahakoa pēwhea, kōrerotia te reo Māori.

Te Māngai Pāho is a Māori language agency operating in the media, digital, broadcast, social media, iwi radio and music sectors. Our role is to promote Māori language and culture by funding creators and distributors of Māori language content and Māori cultural initiatives for distribution to audiences via a diverse range of platforms. Our aim is to see te reo Māori spoken and heard everywhere, every day and in every way.

Wine partner – Coxs' Vineyard

AMA is excited to pair with Coxs' Vineyard for a bespoke AMA 60th anniversary Pinot Noir. The family-run Central Otago vineyard produces premium wines and are providing a small run of their young vine varietal to AMA. The Coxs' recently built a 500 pax, 8-tier amphitheatre on their land, using local rock. Their vision is to hold several performances each year, showcasing the best of Aotearoa music against the beautiful backdrop of their vines and the surrounding mountains. AMA 2025 Te Tino Waiata o te Tau | Single of the Year finalist Reb Fountain held a full venue spellbound for the inaugural concert, in 2023.
