2025 Taite Music Prize Winner - MOKOTRON (Tiopira McDowell)

Recorded Music is a Founding Partner of the Taite Music Prize.

Presented by Independent Music New Zealand, the Prize is named for the late Dylan Taite, one of NZ's best-respected music journalists. It recognises outstanding creativity for an entire collection of music contained on one album. The winner receives a cash prize of $12,500 – contributed by Recorded Music as Founding Partner.

The Independent Spirit, IMNZ Classic Record, Auckland Live Best Independent Debut and NZ On Air Outstanding Music Journalism awards are also presented at the Taite event.
