Managing Your Recordings
Te Whakahaere i ō Hopunga Puoro
The myRecordedMusic Portal is the gateway to our data and distribution system, developed for us by PPL, our equivalent collective management organisation in the UK, adapted from their own widely used technology.
If you are already registered as a Rights Holder, you can log in here
The Recording Artist portal is coming soon (in early 2025)
The myRecordedMusic portal provides:
- Visibility of your account and contact information
- Ability to search over 30 million recordings we hold in our Repertoire Database shared with PPL
- Ability to register and manage your repertoire data including territorial rights (if you are a Rights Holder)
- Ability to submit artist registrations against recordings held in our database (if you are an Artist) - This functionality is being launched in 2026.
- Visibility of your payments and statements
- Ability to raise queries and changes.
Note: The portal also allows you to manage some of your account information relating to your recordings. However, it does not allow you to change your personal contact details or bank account / tax information. You will need to raise an enquiry through the portal to make these changes. This is a security measure to help protect you.

Policies and user guides
By clicking the link above you can find key documents and guides to help you manage your recordings with myRecordedMusic.
Please note that the User Guides provide guidance around how to submit a range of information that Recorded Music NZ does not require due to differences in the law between NZ and the UK (for example in relation to performer line ups and information). You remain free to provide this information and in may be useful in relation to international royalty collection.
The key information required to complete repertoire registration is listed above.
